Decentralized Property Management Platform

Project Information

  • Category: Blockchain & Web3
  • Context: Final-Year Thesis
  • Timeline: 2022 – 2023
  • Tech Stack: Solidity, Node.js, MongoDB, Smart Contracts

Overview

Led a 3-engineer team building a property management dApp on Solidity smart contracts with a Node.js and MongoDB backend, aimed at bringing transparent, tamper-proof record-keeping to public-sector property transactions.

Key Features:

  • Immutable, on-chain audit logs for property record changes.
  • Role-based access for citizens, registrars, and administrators.
  • File verification and record-filing workflows aimed at the public sector.

Why it matters:

Local record management in the public sector is largely non-digitized, and where digitized, often built on outdated systems, undermining the credibility and efficiency of the process. This project explored how blockchain and clearly defined roles for users and administrators could bring transparency and tamper resistance to that record-keeping.
